I had such a wonderful time working with this awesome teen creating Senior Portraits in Downtown Kansas City. When she picked out the Kansas City Public Library as a location, I knew I was gonna love this session!
I really enjoyed meeting and working with KU professor Marie Brown to create some professional headshots that showed off her personality.
Enjoy these Sneak Peeks from Mallory & Cindy's wedding at Californos in Westport in Kansas City. I had such an amazing time meeting and working with these two rad women. Theirs is a story of meeting as college roommates and finding their person early in life, so the wedding was a happy celebration with friends and family of their long relationship together. I shed a bunch of tears behind the camera for this one, every moment was a truly emotional and beautiful experience. #lovewins
Lacey's Senior Portrait session was awesome. We took portraits in East Lawrence, North Lawrence, Downtown and on KU's campus. I absolutely love doing Senior Portraits--please send all your Seniors my way!
When Luke inquired about pricing, he hadn't quite yet revealed the concept. So when the 2nd email came through telling me he wished to take portraits dressed like a English Landed Gentry, I jumped at the opportunity. He wrote, "The premise is I want to get a somewhat 'over the top' portrait of myself taken (but one where I look like I'm taking it completely seriously) and I'm giving a copy to close friends as a wedding gift." When he arrived dressed like this, wielding a cricket bat and toting along a taxidermy friend, I realized the true epic-ness of this shoot. This, my friends, is the job for me. Send me all of your wild requests. ENJOY the set, taken on the lovely campus of the University of Kansas. #unmistakablylawrence
