Drakkar Sauna: The Farewell Concert, 7:30 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2015 @ Lawrence Arts Center This was a perfect goodbye to a band I've seen play several dozen times over the last decade. Their two-hour performance was brilliant, starting with the duo and playing some old favorites, before two-by-two new musicians entered to give support. At one point I felt like I was watching a rock opera, at other times I felt like we were back at the Vinland Valley Nursery watching a summertime performance while children danced at our periphery. Children did dance in our periphery the entire concert was backed up with a chorus of giggles. This was just the good-bye we needed. Their sound will be missed.
