The KU student group Queers and Allies joins the larger queer community in celebrating the annual National Coming Out Day on KU's campus. Queers and allies were encouraged to come out in their support of LGBT rights, by walking through this symbolic closet. October 11, 2012.

I understand that sometimes in homophobic climates, queers and allies end up finding the need to closet their support, and there is no judgement here if you'd like your photo removed from the public gallery. We hope that one day bigotry will cease against members of the queer and allied community.
