The 3rd Annual River City Cook Off was held on Sunday, June 24 at Abe & Jake's Landing, on the south bank of the Kansas River in downtown Lawrence. This annual event is an opportunity to raise money for the river preservation organization, Friends of the Kaw and to celebrate the talent of our local chefs. Special shout out to Hillary Brown from Local Burger, Angel Alvarez from Tortas Jaliscon, Ken Baker from Pachamama's, Brand Walters from Basil Leaf Cafe and Garth Atchison from Wheatfields Bakery & Cafe for the delicious food!
