I love living in a town with so many people who make things. The women of the Foxy By Proxy Revue really outdid themselves with creepy themes for their annual Halloween show. Enjoy these images from the stage of Liberty Hall. It is such a rush for me to photograph live performances and to catch performers at that perfect moments when they engage the audience or strike a pose. Hope you'll enjoy my captures! <3

Jacob and Elizabeth couldn't have had a more perfect wedding day! The two were married on New Years Eve at the Eldridge Hotel in the Crystal Ballroom. The reception was hosted at The Cider Gallery in East Lawrence, where Curtis McCoy DJed the pants off of everyone, leading us all to the midnight countdown where these two lovebirds shared their first kiss of 2017 together in their most beautiful formal wedding outfits. Enjoy some Sneak Peeks from our fun day, including the epic Vanity Fair inspired shot in the lobby of the Eldridge of the entire wedding party that is just simply to die for. <3s to the newlyweds who are enjoying some seaside sun according to their Instagram feeds.

Meet the Samp Extended Family. I love family portrait sessions at this stage in life, when the parents are grandparents, and the siblings are all adults and we take photos of the entire crew. My clients always comment that they don't get an opportunity to do portraits like this outside of the context of a wedding. Some feel like the last family photo was when they were all teenagers. I love doing these kinds of sessions! So the next time your whole family is in town, hit me up and we can make some fun portraits! <3

I had such a fun afternoon with Ally and Rachel snapping pics in Old Jefferson Town, south of Oskaloosa. I first found this spot while out on a country drive, but this is the first time I've been able to photograph clients there. It was the best backdrop for a late fall portrait session! <3

It was super rad working with Water and Deron for their wedding! I enjoyed driving all over Kansas City with them snapping pics against iconic Kansas City locations. I loved all of the details they picked for their reception, from the boarding pass place cards to the trip destinations on all the tables, representing all of the trips the two have taken together, these lovebirds really personalized their wedding for their guests to celebrate with them. <3 Enjoy these images from their wedding at The Hotel Phillips in Downtown Kansas City.
