I had a great time shooting team photos for the Capitol City Crushers roller derby team from Topeka, KS.

Meet Kathleen, my best friend from high school. It was such a pleasure shooting photos for her family with her partner, child (who I share a birthday with!) and her parents. We went to the neighborhood park we used to sneak to at night as teens, then we headed over to Tallassee to an abandoned mill site to take some photos against that perfect southern rustic backdrop.

Enjoy photos from Jacob and Alex's wedding at Abe and Jake's in Lawrence, KS. These two were so much fun to get to know during engagement portraits and on the wedding day. We took all of our formal portraits in lovely Downtown Lawrence. I always let my clients have the opportunity to pick which images they want me to edit from their wedding day. I was so pleased to see that these two picked some of the more candid shots, the ones that aren't "picture perfect" and thus, feel that much more real and authentic. I also loved that Alex got to show off her pant suit by the end of the reception--what fun!
