Spoiler alert: Rachel and Kate take the plunge--literally! Like, in bikinis at their rooftop pool. Here's proof that a wedding can simply be a gathering of those closest to you in a local park, followed by a swimming reception at your apartment. I had the extreme pleasure of snapping engagement portraits with Bethany and Kelsee at the Douglas County Fair. I love their cute dresses and style! We had a blast hanging out, eating cotton candy, playing some games, and checking out the rides. Fun for all! #lovewins

This is NOT an engagement session, nor a pregnancy announcement, despite my use of a pink smoke bomb. Why did I pick pink? Because it contrasted so beautifully against Taylor's vintage Firebird in the prettiest shade of blue. You guys know me, I am not the kind of photographer to photograph a gender reveal--it's a bizzarro concept I would never shoot, since we know gender is something children get to choose once they are out of the womb. It was a great honor to photograph Alecia & Taylor--two of my most favorite people in the world. Spoiler alert: we end up naked on some hippie owned land north of town at the end of the shoot.
