Last weekend I had the pleasure of getting to document TWO Halloween themed weddings at Library Hall in Downtown Lawrence. Check out Jordan & Tyler's Sneak Peeks. The portraits in Oak Hill Cemetery are especially memorable and check out these decorations! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Check out this BEAUTIFUL Kansas City engagement portrait session with Bailey & John. I had such a great time wandering around the West Bottoms with these two. We ended the session in formal clothes at sunset--I LOVE LOVE LOVE this session! I can't wait to shoot their wedding next year at The Scarritt Building in Kansas City.

I really enjoyed photographing Aaron and Ursula's summer wedding at the Train Depot in North Lawrence. Enjoy these photos of their ceremony. My favorite part of the day was photographing the two riding on a tandem bike! Enjoy these portraits. This gives you an idea of what a custom package with a short amount of coverage looks like. I am happy to book these smaller weddings to fill in the dates I still have clear on my calendar.

Sara and Aaron's wedding celebrated the coming together of two families. The couple's children were their wedding party and their ceremony included vows to the kids. There wasn't a dry eye in the house when their love story was told -- a story of a window and widower meeting for a second chance at love after mourning the loss of their spouses. The deceased's families were in attendance and this added to the feeling that this couple is united in their love of all of their family. This was a special day of celebration for all of their friends and family. To be honest, I've never seen Abe & Jake's so packed before! There must have been at least 300 guests and the kids at the party had a great time in the photobooth and attacking the candy bar. What a beautiful day of merriment and love.

Stef & Nikki's wedding was absolutely amazing. Every detail was truly an original pick for these ladies. From Stef's dapper suit and masculine wedding attendants to Nikki's re-use of her sister's wedding gown and bridesmaids styled in their own pick of dresses, these made detail decisions that made their wedding perfectly them. The two shared a brunch dinner with their guests and offered a donut bar in lieu of cake. The dance party at the reception was full of revelry and fun. The Cider Gallery was the perfect spot to host their unique Lawrence wedding. Enjoy these images from their wedding day.
