Ashley & Mauricio's day was filled with color, laughter, family, and music. They were married in Ashley's home church, a beautiful Catholic church in the heart of Lawrence. Mariachi filled the air with music as friends and families gathered on the steps post-ceremony for a bubble exit for the newlyweds. The wedding party traveled by party bus, despite it being a home football game day, to KU locations to take portraits for these two who both have professional careers in the support staff. The couple hosted their reception at Van-Go, Inc. a place more know for its afterschool art program, but it also served as a perfect backdrop for the Mexican fiesta themed decorating scheme. Mariachi, a salsa bar, tequila fountain, and photobooth entertained revelers until the wedding party arrived for a wonderful entrance.  Family waived colored napkins over their heads and mariachi blasted their loudest songs in celebration. The reception was a rawkus party with a live band (after the mariachi left), Mexican sweets and wedding cake, the tequila fountain kept flowing and wonderful homemade Mexican food filled our bellies as we celebrated into the night. Much love to these two as they build a life together. Their wedding will be forever remembered by all who attended, as one of the most fun weddings ever! <3
