I really love taking photos for people I've known as long as I've known Cait (15+ years!) and Lydia! These two were a blast to work with -- they gave me full reign to just photograph what I wanted with no big shot list I had to abide by. Instead I was encouraged to document the small details of Cait's Pa's farm and encouraged to have some fun at the reception and enjoy hanging out with mutual friends while documenting the rawkus dance party. The end result is some of my favorite wedding photography to date! I loved everything about this wedding, from Cait's dad's insistence to having a 2nd quick ceremony in Missouri (after the first in Kansas) so that he could legally and ethically sign the Missouri marriage certificate to the giant circle of friends and family singing Billy Joel's Piano Man to Pa's special introduction to his Kentucky dance. A taco food truck and portraits in the graffiti alley took it all to the next level. This wedding will be one of my favorites for years and years to come! heart emoticon Much love to Lydia & Cait as they continue their lives together--we miss you up there in Pennsylvania!
