The story of Ellen and Mark and how they come to choose Topeka as their destination wedding location all the way from The Netherlands is a wonderful tale indeed. These two lovebirds met over a decade ago while foreign exchange students in Topeka, Kansas. The two met on the plane on the way to the states and a love blossomed. To tie the know, they came back to America, where it all began, to get married in Topeka with their host families as witnesses. They hired me without ever meeting me in person, but soon we found out that my photography style was just what they wanted to document their American wedding ceremony. For two hours before the ceremony, we drove around the streets of Topeka finding cute spots for pictures on this cold cold day in January. Without hand warmers and a heated car, this would have been unbearable, but the photos turned out perfect! You'd never know how cold it was this day!
