When I heard that Krista & Matt never received their August 2014 wedding photographs from their KC photographer, I was so shocked and sad! From what it sounds like, their photographer lost a hard drive and is now facing tons of irate clients whose wedding photos may never be recovered. To be quite honest, I was pretty shocked to hear this story. I'm a back-up girl, the night of the wedding, those images are being loaded online into a cloud so that me and my clients are protected from loss of images. I take file management pretty darn serious. In addition, I keep weddings on their original CF cards until I have finished editing the project and have sent it out the door--this way, if I ever lose a hard drive, not only will I have back-up on a cloud, but I will head right out and buy a replacement computer, reload my Lightroom, and be on my merry way, importing in photos of unfinished projects straight from the card to computer, like it was just shot yesterday.

But I digress, when I heard that Leslie Cooper of Something Blue Salon's plans to organize a stylized shoot for Krista, I was happy to get involved. A big thank you to Leslie for organizing this! My fingers are crossed that some files may be one day able to be retrieved. Much love to these two! You've already weathered an unimaginable storm, you got the rest of this. May it be pleasant and smooth sailing from here on out. <3
