I had such a delightful experience working with Chris and Rachel on their wedding day in downtown Lawrence, Kansas. These two were such darlings, and their wedding party so accommodating as we all battled the 90+ degree summer temperatures while doing outdoor portraits. These two created a beautiful experience and a wonderful schedule for their wedding weekend. I enjoy snapping pics at the rehearsal dinner on Friday, where guests enjoyed a seated dinner with lots of time for conversation and opportunities to give heartfelt formal wedding toasts. Then on the wedding day, the couple opted for a late ceremony, no formal dinner or indoor seating, rather they transformed the Cider Gallery into a giant dancefloor with access to delicious hor d'oeuvres from Culinaria all night long. I ate one too many of their wonderful chicken skewers and cream cheese stuffed jalapenos wrapped in bacon! Delish! And the end result, a night full of dancing, which guests of all ages participated in. I can't wait to edit their wedding pics! It's gonna be so much fun! Enjoy these Sneak Peaks!
