I was so thrilled when Rishad and Jonathan approached me to take photos of the one year anniversary party and blessing by their families of their union one year ago. The day had even more significance coming only a few days after the Supreme Court decision to legalize gay marriage in the United States. Their friends and family were so joyous of their union, I get teary just thinking back to the blessings given by their parents. Love and familial support is a beautiful thing.
