In the 1990's zine culture changed my life. I had young female penpals all over the country and parts of the world. We would write each other having never met, about deep secrets of our lives and experience. In the pages of our zines we developed an anti-racist, feminist critique of the world we were raised in. Thus, I knew Oh Snap! had to be a sponsor of the KC Zine Con #1! Enjoy pics from the photobooth! A big shout out to all the former Pirate House punks who came out to the event!
