I had such a great time working with Christine and Justin for their winter wedding in Lawrence, KS. Their families gathered in their home before the ceremony to share a toast and to take some photojournalistic coverage of the day. After family portraits on their front porch, the two walked the 6 blocks to the courthouse hand-in-hand. This was a private moment for the two of them, so I drove to meet them outside the courtyard for a few more photos before we went inside for their short courthouse ceremony. The two left arm in arm together to walk back home and I caught one more portrait of them on Mass Street. I love photojournalistic coverage and chill couples like these two, who just want a document of their special day, without any of the traditional posing.
