I know I say it a lot, but y'all I really do love my job. When Rea hit me up months and months ago to organize this Supernatural fan shoot I was immediately excited about being given the task of watching the show Supernatural and coming up with ideas of places in and around Lawrence that would mimic the look and feel of the show, which fictitiously takes places in Lawrence (while being filmed in Washington).

Staying true to my own editing style, in the end I decided to keep the warm tones I usually use when editing, rather than replicate the colder tones of the show, in essence I was translating Washington into Kansas. These tones are more familiar to me, as we live in a state with so much sun and sky. Our shoot day was as bright and sunny as any Kansas summer day. So it was hard to not want to honor that beauty.
