My love and interest in photography started while photographing bands in the alternative music scene of the mid and late 1990's in my hometown, Auburn, AL. After becoming a professional, I find that I have to really push myself to bring my camera out to document small DIY shows, so I've been striving to do more of that in 2015, to go back to my roots of photographing local music scenes. Meet some of the Whatever Forever cassette label's bands:  Youngest Children & Arc Flash. Hoping to bring you more photos in the coming months representing the wonderful Lawrence local music scene.

I can't wait to shoot Rozi & Andrew's wedding in October. We had a bunch of fun running around Topeka taking portraits at locations we found along the way. My new favorite Topeka photo backdrops are in the North Topeka Arts District. Enjoy these!

I'm super excited to photograph Theresa & Casey's fall wedding. We did two engagement sessions, our first one was snowy, so we wanted to do a second session to get some photos of them on a soccer field, their second home. I love working with clients in "bad" weather and love incorporating things about their interests in engagement shoots. Can't wait for the wedding! <3
