As an old riot grrrl fan of the 90's, I was super excited to catch sleater-kinney on their reunion tour, marking the 5th time I'd had the opportunity to see them play. THEESatisfaction has been on my Spotify playlist for the last couple of years, so I was super excited to hear that they were the openers. Being able to shoot s-k with my nice equipment was a dream come true and quite the turn-around from shooting them on my old film Canon Rebel camera. It was fun seeing all the ladies my age at the show, as well as all the youngsters who have gotten into them over the years. S-K is one of the most lasting riot grrrl bands that had such an important impact on my college years and beyond. Shooting them was an absolute honor. Enjoy the pics! <3

Chloie & Sean's Wedding {The Berg * Crossroads District * Kansas City}
Chloie & Sean were so much fun to work with. The two of them possess a positive energy that not all couples have and it was truly fun working with them on their wedding day. I love shooting at The Berg in downtown Kansas City not only because of the way it is already stylish, but because you have access to do all the wedding party photos right in downtown KCMO! This wedding party was game to go walk around with me and we had such fun taking photos and hanging out along the way. Much love to Chloie & Sean and their wonderful friends and family! <3
Jenelle & Jake's Wedding {Stony Point Hall * Baldwin City, KS}
Jennelle & Jake lucked out with some absolutely GORGEOUS weather on their wedding day. I enjoyed a wonderful day with the two of them and their wedding party as we enjoyed taking photos all over the property of the beautiful Stony Point Hall in Baldwin City, KS. I have the funniest story to tell, Sarah and I, who assisted me at their wedding, ran into the two of them not once! but twice! eating at various downtown restaurants. The first time was dinner the day after the wedding, where we found them at Minsky's where we too were eating Italian food, which was also ironic, because J&J had Italian food at their wedding! Then the next weekend Sarah and I found them at the 23rd Street Brewery! We're crossing our fingers that we'll meet them for dinner again soon! :)
