Congratulations to Margot and Jon! I had such a blast doing photos for your wedding. It was one of our favorites of the year! The Riverwood Winery in Weston, MO is so beautiful with a rustic barn, a red painted barn, the vineyards, the orchard, and more. It was our first chance to do photography there and we really hope to book a wedding there in 2017!

Matt and Lauren were so fun to work with. There's was that perfect mix of traditional (married in their church) and classic downtown Lawrence. We took portraits throughout the streets and alleys of Downtown on our way to the Carnegie Building where the reception was held. Having everything walking distance like that is so convenient for your guests and offers that perfect LFK experience. Much love to these two. <3 I will always remember you as my first favorite puddle photo couple. <3

I know I say it a lot, but y'all I really do love my job. When Rea hit me up months and months ago to organize this Supernatural fan shoot I was immediately excited about being given the task of watching the show Supernatural and coming up with ideas of places in and around Lawrence that would mimic the look and feel of the show, which fictitiously takes places in Lawrence (while being filmed in Washington).

Staying true to my own editing style, in the end I decided to keep the warm tones I usually use when editing, rather than replicate the colder tones of the show, in essence I was translating Washington into Kansas. These tones are more familiar to me, as we live in a state with so much sun and sky. Our shoot day was as bright and sunny as any Kansas summer day. So it was hard to not want to honor that beauty.
