It was a blast working with the women of the Capital City Crushers in Topeka! I am super excited to be the official photographer for their 2017 season! I can't wait to check out one of their bouts!

#tbt -- edited some photos from the super fun Studio B Halloween show. ENJOY! <3 DIY SPACE!

The news is out! Geneva & Chad eloped on New Years Day at the Cedar Crest Lodge in Pleasanton, KS. What a great way to start the new year! Congratulations to the newlyweds! Enjoy these Sneak Peeks from their wedding day. The Cedar Crest Lodge is perfect for nearby get-away weekends and elopement weddings! This was our first visit out there and we loved the sunset views from atop the hill at the main lodge.
<3 Hope to get invited back out there again soon! Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Nora and Thom were theater kids at the University of Kansas and knew they had to return to Lawrence to host their wedding on the stage of the beautiful and historic Liberty Hall in Downtown Lawrence. I really appreciate how much fun they were to work with and how much fun their friends and family were to document. Thom's one request was for me to take as many candid photos of their friends and families partying as possible. It's those photos that he remembers looking at in his parents wedding album, seeing all the candid expressions of people in the backgrounds. With this task in mind, I had the best darn time providing a truly documentary perspective of their wedding day. Enjoy the pics. <3 PS This is Nora's mom's dress and the photo of her drinking straight from the whiskey bottle--that's a family heirloom shot. <3

In contrast to the gloomiest of January days on Inauguration Day, January 21st brought blue skies and warm weather in Topeka, KS. Temps got up to the 60's while 3,000-4,000 people gathered outside the State Capitol Building to express their dissent against President Trump's political positions.
