Taking photos at Drakkar Sauna's farewell concert was bittersweet. Getting to see Jeff & Wallace perform all these years has been a highlight in my Lawrence experiences. Their shows always brought out the best crowds. At this farewell concert we got a glimpse into what they could have been, with all of the added accompaniment by local musicians, the sound was even more rich and became so textured it deserved to be performed on a stage like the Lawrence Arts Center's. This sold out performance was simply brilliant. I am happy for Wallace as he moves across the globe to chase down new dreams, but this duo will be sorely missed in Lawrence. It's sad to see the end of an era. <3

Dear Diva Haus, I love each and everyone one of you who lived there and sought to create positive community. It's rare that a punk house / radical housing cooperative is as successful as you were at becoming home for so many. Your doors were always open to shelter those travelling through, these photographs are a love note from me to you. I will miss this house more than words can express. XOXO! Solidarity and Community! <3
