I had such a delightful experience working with Chris and Rachel on their wedding day in downtown Lawrence, Kansas. These two were such darlings, and their wedding party so accommodating as we all battled the 90+ degree summer temperatures while doing outdoor portraits. These two created a beautiful experience and a wonderful schedule for their wedding weekend. I enjoy snapping pics at the rehearsal dinner on Friday, where guests enjoyed a seated dinner with lots of time for conversation and opportunities to give heartfelt formal wedding toasts. Then on the wedding day, the couple opted for a late ceremony, no formal dinner or indoor seating, rather they transformed the Cider Gallery into a giant dancefloor with access to delicious hor d'oeuvres from Culinaria all night long. I ate one too many of their wonderful chicken skewers and cream cheese stuffed jalapenos wrapped in bacon! Delish! And the end result, a night full of dancing, which guests of all ages participated in. I can't wait to edit their wedding pics! It's gonna be so much fun! Enjoy these Sneak Peaks! And I wish Chris and Rachel a wonderful honeymoon, which they got to leave for the very next morning! <3

I had such a wonderful time documenting Kara & Jason's Ultimate Triforce Wedding -- from portraits in the local comic book store, to taking photos of the whole wedding party throwing comic books in the air, to photos of the guests playing video games and tabletop games, this wedding played up the couple's nerdy interests and it stamps originality and fun on their wedding photos. This is what weddings are for, to celebrate the two quirky people that fell in love with each other over shared interests. Much love to these two -- I finished these photos right when they were on their honeymoon! Enjoy Portland! <3

I had the best time taking photos with Megan & Chris in Kansas City -- The Urban Event was such a beautiful backdrop for all of the couple's style choices. It was a dream wedding to photograph! We didn't leave the Urban Event building once and never ran out of great photo backdrops. Megan's a photographer and had the eye for what would make for lovely wedding photos on what ended up being a little bit of a rainy day. Check out these city views from the rooftop! So gorgeous. Much love to these two! <3

I was super excited to photograph their wedding when I found out the cake would be placed on top of Castle Grayskull, but little did I know the bride and groom were also going to do a full-on 80's/90's dance routine to a soundtrack of favorite hits. Needlesstosay, this was one fun wedding! Here's some sneak peaks and some pics from the photobooth. ENJOY!

I enjoyed running around the West Bottoms of Kansas City with John & Marisa taking engagement portraits against cool old architecture. I am super excited to photograph their wedding this summer! <3
