I had the most fun working with Megan and Chris. The Urban Event provided the perfect backdrop for all things modern and beautiful. Megan, also a photographer, picked out the best backdrops for us and so every single one of these was taken on the 3rd, 8th floor or roof of The Urban Event in Kansas City, MO. Rooftop views are simply the best, and the rustic modern look of the inside was to die for. As were the bridesmaids dresses, all of a different hue and it worked perfectly together. The hues of the warm afternoon of the city were the hues of the wedding. It was a magical experience to shoot. Truly beautiful. 

I was so thrilled when Rishad and Jonathan approached me to take photos of the one year anniversary party and blessing by their families of their union one year ago. The day had even more significance coming only a few days after the Supreme Court decision to legalize gay marriage in the United States. Their friends and family were so joyous of their union, I get teary just thinking back to the blessings given by their parents. Love and familial support is a beautiful thing.  Enjoy these sneak peaks from the event and our garden outdoor photobooth! Much love to these two as they continue their lives together. <3

I enjoyed working with Lacey & Matt on their wedding day for my first wedding down in Wichita. These two were so much fun! Check out the dancefloor action. They did a formal classical dance, followed by a coordinated dance routine to pop music of the last 30 years. SO MUCH FUN! These two are the bees knees and their son Anakin is such a cool kid. Check out their Castle Grayskull themed cake and sweets table! I enjoyed doing photos at the Mid-America All-Indian center; museum weddings are just the best and we were right next to the Keeper of the Plains statue, which made for a great backdrop for night photos.
